Sherbrooke Down: Valley of Tears is inspired by two deeply connected true Australian stories. Set i n Australia's little-explored Federation period of the early 1900s, this visually arresting period drama follows two families from different sides of the tracks who've
made their homes in the sleepy village of Sherbrooke, New South Wales.

At the heart of the narrative are Evangeline Keene and Sarah Grey, who clash from the moment they meet. Evangeline, a hard-working mother of six trying t o keep her devoted but flawed husband Matthew on the straight and narrow, rails against the prim, proper
and judgmental Sarah, wife of country manor squire Charles Grey, who considers herself a cut above.

The plan is to sacrifice the thriving farming community and build a mega dam on the Cataract River, the lifeblood of Sherbrooke.

And so, a new fight begins... and the stakes have never been higher.
